My name is Doug Launius. I have been a Nationally Registered Paramedic since 2000. I have also carried certifications in North Carolina, South Carolina, and the United Kingdom. Over the years I have worked on 911 emergency response ambulances for both large, over 65,000 calls annually, and small EMS systems. In addition, my healthcare background has allowed me to be an effective ski patrol member, white water rafting guide, & work as medical director for several adventure races. Prior to all that, I am proud to have served as a U.S. Marine. Lastly, as a veteran field paramedic, I am excited to share my knowledge and first hand experiences of real world CPR situations.
