BLS for Healthcare provider course is $55.00

This course is designed for the healthcare professional. These healthcare professionals include Paramedics, EMT’s, CNA’s, Medical Assistants, Doctors, Nurses, Respiratory therapists, Firefighters, law enforcement, flight attendants, Phlebotomy techs, or any other practitioners who work in a clinical setting.

This course includes:

  • Manikins, your own resuscitation mask, videos, lectures, one on one time with the instructor and a certification card.
  • You will be certified in adult, child, infant CPR, 2 rescuer CPR, rescue breathing, Choking adult, child and infant. Certified and trained on the AED (automatic external defibrillator). The use of the BVM (Bag-Valve-Mask)
  • The course is scheduled for 4 hours. Class times will vary depending on the amount of people attending, class participation and testing.

Heartsaver CPR/ AED course is $65.00

This course is designed for people who need who need a CPR card for either work purposes (for people who do not work in any kind of healthcare industry) or for personal fulfillment. This class is perfect for the lay person, the fitness instructor, the educator, childcare professional, parents, couples, or anyone else.

This course includes:

  • Manikins, your own resuscitation mask, videos, lectures, one on one time with the instructor and a certification card.
  • You will be certified in adult, child, infant CPR, choking adult, child, and infant, trained and certified in the use of the AED (automatic external defibrillator).
  • This course is scheduled for 3.5 hours. Class time will vary depending on the amount of people attending, class participation and testing.

College student discount. If you are a new college student or are currently enrolled and need to certified we will certify you for $50.00This includes everything that you will need. You will be certified in adult, child, and infant CPR. Choking adult, child and infant, 2 rescuer CPR, rescue breathing, BVM (bag valve mask), trained and certified on the AED (automatic external defibrillator).

Couples. This course is designed for couples who want to learn CPR together because they already have children or are expecting parents, or just want to go through a class together. They will be certified in adult, child and infant CPR, choking adult, child, infant, 2 rescuer CPR, and rescue breathing as well as being trained and certified on an AED (automatic external defibrillator).

 

First Aid course costs $45.00

The First Aid course is geared towards people that are dealing with the public. If your company does not require you to have First Aid you can still take the course for your own personal needs. Some of the companies that would require first Aid would include: Personal Trainers, Outdoor guides, all teachers, childcare professionals, large corporations and industries.

Course structure:

This course will only be taught by highly trained and experienced Paramedics/Firefighters. The course content will deal with scenarios that you could encounter at work, home or vacation.

Part 1: The Basics of First Aid

This is an introduction on how to assess the scene, universal precautions, exposure to blood, finding out what is wrong with the patient and how to treat the patient from that point on.

Part 2: Environmental Emergencies

This segment will cover how to treat all cold-related, heat- related emergencies as well as all stings and bites.

Part 3: Injury Emergencies

This segment will teach you how to treat all injuries from sprains, strains, broken bones, bleeding you can see, internal bleeding, penetrating injuries, eye  injuries, head, neck and spine injuries, burns as well as electrical burns.

Part 4: Medical Emergencies

This segment will get you prepared to treat Shock, Seizures, Strokes, Low Blood Sugar, Heart Attack, Fainting, all Allergic reactions and breathing problems.

 

ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support course costs $200.00

This ACLS course is an advanced, Instructor-led classroom based course for Medical professionals who respond to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the Hospital. This course is designed to enhance their treatment abilities through the American Heart Association guidelines. The training will cover high quality CPR through advanced interventions. This course will last approximately 10 hours, all depending on how many people attend class.

This course will include

CPR, Acute Coronary Syndromes, Acute Stroke treatment, Post-Cardiac Arrest care, ACLS Pharmacology, Airway management, transcutaneous pacing, EKG rhythm recognition, Resuscitation Team Dynamics and at the end the students will Perform a Megacode.

Mandatory Precourse Material

Before you come to your scheduled ACLS course, the AHA has made it mandatory that you complete the ACLS Self-Assessment and Pre-Test and score a 70% or higher to participate in the ACLS course. We have included the link below to the AHA student website. Once you have completed the test, print out the page with your score and bring it with you to class. ACLS renewal

This course puts a lot of emphasis on high quality CPR and team dynamics. The student should come to class with the knowledge of the ACLS basic pharmacology that is in the ACLS manual, rhythm interpretations and appropriate treatment. For a student to be eligible for the renewal course you must have a current BLS and ACLS card. The cost is $125.00 plus the cost of the ACLS manual.

ACLS skills check off

The student must have completed the online portion and come to class with the printed copy showing that they passed. The student should be familiar with the megacode scenarios that are located in the back of the ACLS manual. The cost is $85.00
